Arsenal have been sweating over the fitness of Gabriel and Riccardo Calafiori ahead of their Premier League trip to Fulham.
Both defenders missed Wednesday’s 2-0 home win over Manchester United.
Gabriel has been struggling with an issue that forced him off early during last week’s wins over Sporting and West Ham.
Calafiori has only recently returned from a knee injury and was taken off against the Hammers.
“We have a few,” said Arteta on Arsenal’s injuries on Friday. “It’s matchday minus two, so we have to modify a few players.
“We have another training session tomorrow [Saturday], so we will see how everyone is. Until tomorrow’s training session it’s very difficult to say.”
Arsenal head to Craven Cottage in fine form after winning four games in a row across all competitions. If Calafiori and Gabriel are able to return to the team then Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko will make way.
Arteta could also look to make a change in attack. Gabriel Martinelli had a frustrating night against Manchester United and Leandro Trossard looked sharp off the bench.
The Belgian could earn a start at Fulham on Sunday, with Arteta ready to rotate his squad during what is a busy month for Arsenal.
