Everton are undergoing a period of intense change which could see Sean Dyche depart the club in the coming months, according to Ian Darke.

The TNT Sports commentator predicts this season could be Dyche’s last on Merseyside, with The Friedkin Group soon to begin their new era at the club.

Dyche’s future has long been debated with the Toffees as they prepare to move to the Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium in time to begin the new campaign.

“The winds of change are blowing a little bit, so maybe Sean Dyche should worry,” Darke exclusively told Goodison News.

“New stadium, new owners. I have no specific information, but maybe there’s a bit of a feeling around that this is his last season at Everton, which he could be feeling as well.”

Everton are currently in a situation whereby Dyche’s immediate future will be resolved when Friedkin officially takes the reins.

He and his consortium have shown their recent ruthlessness by firing two managers from Roma since the start of this season – one of them club icon Daniele de Rossi, which divided the fanbase in the Italian capital.

The Toffees know from Dyche’s previous record that he is likely to keep the club afloat in the Premier League, but doubts have been cast on whether he would be the man to elevate them to the next level – a key aim once the new stadium becomes home.
