Derby County are keen on a move for Aston Villa winger Louie Barry this winter, according to reporter Alan Nixon on his Patreon page.

Derby County have become the latest team to be credited with an interest in the attacker ahead of the upcoming January transfer window. The youngster has impressed on loan in League One at Stockport County over recent times but his future at Edgeley Park is up in air right now amid attention from the league above.

Barry, 21, spent last season on loan with the Hatters as well as helped them win the League Two title under the guidance of Dave Challinor before returning for a second spell in the summer. He has made 42 appearances in all competitions for the North West outfit to date and has chipped in with 23 goals, 14 of which have come in this campaign.
