Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov is attracting significant interest from Premier League clubs, with LIVERPOOL, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal reportedly among the latest suitors, according to the Mirror.
A playmaker, Sudakov signed a new contract until 2028 which has a release clause of around £125million active from June but Shakhtar are expected to consider sensible offers for the 21-year-old.
Chelsea were understood to have held discussions with his representatives in recent transfer windows to ascertain the figures involved, but in the end, the Blues were unable to get a transfer deal done for the young man.
Now, LIVERPOOL are the latest club to join the chase in order to get the attacker signed up, and his agent has opened up and revealed that Sudakov is open to offers into leaving Shakhtar – His agent, Vadim Shabliy: “Shakhtar and the player are open to offers. And that means there is a high probability that we will soon be able to see Georgiy in the top leagues.”
Sudakov is close friends with Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk and has joked that his former teammate is missing him in London.
Mudryk has struggled to adjust to life in the capital since his own £62m transfer from Shakhtar last summer and remains in regular contact with Sudakov often advising him to make the switch to England.
