YouTube streamer IshowSpeed has challenged American sprint queen Sha’Carri Richardson to race him after sensationally claiming that she’s not faster than him or Kylian Mbappe.
YouTube streamer IshowSpeed has stirred up another debate by claiming world 100m champion Sha’Carri Richardson is not faster than him or Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappe.
Speed has in recent days been making bold claims against a number of athletes and recently went into a 50m showdown with Olympics 100m champion Noah Lyles, losing the race by a close margin.
Since his loss, the content creator has maintained that he was the winner and even asked for a rematch, a request that Lyles has turned down, and he has now shifted focus to Richardson.
'Give me that same chance'- Why NFL star Tyreek Hill wants the same courtesy accorded Noah Lyles by viral YouTuber IShowSpeed
NFL star Tyreek Hill is now demanding a showdown with viral Youtuber IShowSpeed after his 50m race against Olympic champion Noah Lyles.
In a bizarre claim, the streamer questioned if the Olympics 100m silver medalist is even faster than Mbappe, who is known for his blistering pace down the wings, and also went on to challenge to a race, akin to what he had with Lyles last month.
“Yo, chat, I gotta race Sha’Carri Richardson, y’all, alright?... I’m not gonna cap. Chat, we gotta set that up,” he said during a recent livestream.
“There’s no way she’s faster than Mbappe, bro. She is? How do y’all know this though? She’s not faster than me, though... Me and her gotta race.”

Sha'Carri Richardson, who has never been one to shy away from expressing her personality, has agreed with Noah Lyles on the importance of athletes having a persona.
It is the latest in a catalogue of bold and extreme claims Speed has been making even as he continues to challenge himself against some of the world’s top athletes.
Whether Richardson will accept the challenge is something her fans will wait and see but Speed will be reminded that the sprinter has the joint sixth best 100m time in history following her 10.65 seconds recorded at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary when she won gold.
She burst onto the scene by clocking an astonishing 10.75 seconds in Austin, Texas in 2019 when she was just 19.
