Mohamed Salah’s contract has been a big talking point in recent weeks, yet Liverpool fans could be about to get a Christmas present to remember if recent reports are to be believed.
Salah has reportedly agreed to a new lucrative two-year contract with Liverpool, with a potential announcement on the cards before the end of the year if the Reds can wrap up everything with the 32-year-old superstar.
With Liverpool also confident that Virgil van Dijk will sign a new deal, things are really starting to look up for the Anfield side away from the pitch after months of uncertainty surrounding two of their star players.
Yet Salah signing a new contract with Liverpool might take longer than some people have imagined.
Salah contract ‘could still take time’ despite ‘positive’ Liverpool talks

Liverpool have to wrap up Salah talks as soon as possible
Liverpool’s incompetence in tying Salah down to a new contract has left fans frustrated and worried about the winger’s future, especially when it is so clear that the 32-year-old wants to stay on Merseyside beyond this season.
