Arsenal are expected to resist January approaches for Jakub Kiwior amid renewed interest from Europe, according to the latest reports in the media which have emerged this weekend.
Kiwior signed for ARSENAL FC a couple of January windows ago from Spezia for a fee of £17.5million, and there have been occasions where he has put in some impressive performances in that Arsenal shirt.
However – he has failed to live upto expectations over his Gunners career and has been constantly linked with a move away from the Emirates – with a number of top clubs reportedly interested in a potential deal.
Kiwior’s minutes have been even more limited this season by the signing of Riccardo Calafiori, who has been impressive since his move to the club in the summer and if the man that Mikel Arteta prefers in that left-back position.
However – despite all the speculation that the defender is open to leaving the club in January, the Daily Mirror has claimed that Arsenal have now made the decision that they will keep Kiwior at the club until the end of the season.
He has been valuable in recent weeks and with a long season ahead for the Gunners, a move would not make sense, the reports says.

Look, ARSENAL FC took a chance on Kiwior and brought him to the Premier League, but he has had enough time to settle at the club and make some kind of impact, but it has not really worked out like that.
If he wants to move back to Italian football, then that Arsenal board should allow him to leave and bring in players that actually want to be part of the side, stars that will give 100 per cent and will not miss the country they have been signed for.
It was a shock to see Arsenal keep the player in the summer window – but we are not shocked to see that he will probably also stay in January.
