Jordan Ayew is the man selected to replace Facundo Buonanotte as Ruud van Nistelrooy makes just one change to his Leicester City side.
Buonanotte is ineligible to take on his parent club Brighton and so van Nistelrooy has been forced to tweak the team that claimed a 3-1 win over West Ham on his debut as boss on Tuesday night. Amid a number of options, Ayew has been selected, and will likely play in the no.10 role, with Kasey McAteer wide right and Bilal El Khannouss on the left.
It means Stephy Mavididi and Bobby De Cordova-Reid remain on the bench. Hamza Choudhury, absent from the squad on Tuesday, is called up, with Will Alves and Odsonne Edouard overlooked.
It means Conor Coady and Jannik Vestergaard again for the City centre-back pairing, with Wout Faes left out for the second game running. James Justin and Victor Kristiansen are at full-back, with Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumare in front of the backline, the two midfielders, both one yellow card away from a one-match suspension.
Jamie Vardy is also one booking away from a ban, the skipper leading the line for a third game in nine days. He came off after an hour on Tuesday night, with Patson Daka his replacement.
**City (4-2-3-1):** Hermansen; Justin, Coady, Vestergaard, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Soumare; McAteer, Ayew, El Khannouss; Vardy. **Subs:** Ward, Okoli, Faes, Thomas, Skipp, Choudhury, Mavididi, De Cordova-Reid, Daka.
