Arsenal will be without three key players when they take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon (2pm).
The Gunners are currently third in the Premier League standings, behind London rivals Chelsea on goal difference and seven points behind leaders Liverpool. They reduced the deficit midweek with a 2-0 victory over Manchester United, while the Merseyside outfit drew 3-3 with Newcastle.
After Saturday lunchtime's Merseyside derby was postponed due to the adverse weather conditions caused by Storm Darragh, Arsenal have a significant opportunity to put themselves within four points of Liverpool - if they secure victory at Fulham. However, they will need to navigate a tricky away clash without some first-choice stars.
Gabriel is absent from Sunday's squad, as is summer signing Riccardo Calafiori. Full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko will also miss out - owing to injury. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will now be left sweating over the fitness of the trio with a crucial Champions League meeting with Ligue 1 side Monaco midweek.
As Gabriel and Calafiori also missed the win over United, Arteta has opted for the same centre back pairing of William Saliba and Jakub Kiwior against Fulham. Jurrien Timber has been moved to left back in place of Zinchenko, while Thomas Partey will cover the right back position.
