Juve and City are going through hard times domestically and in the Champions League.
The two sides will meet on Wednesday at the Allianz Stadium in Turin in Champions League round 6. They both have eight points in the league so far.
Juventus confirmedan injury to Italy international Cambiaso on Sunday morning. The ex-Genoa defender had been subbed off in the first half of a 2-2 draw against Bologna on Saturday.
The versatile full-back will surely miss the game against City, and it remains to be seen if he will be fit to play again in 2024.

Cambiaso has added to an already long list of absentees for the Old Lady.
Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal will surely miss the game with knee injuries, so Cambiaso’s fresh problem deepens Thiago Motta’s defensive selection crisis.
Arkadiusz Milik will also miss the Man City game, while Weston McKennie, Nico Gonzalez and Douglas Luiz must be assessed ahead of the upcoming Champions League fixture.
McKennie has missed the last three Juventus games due to a muscle issue. Nico and Douglas Luiz have missed 13 and 11, respectively.
Juventus coach Thiago Motta will provide the latest team news on Tuesday, the eve of the game, during a pre-match press conference at 13:30 local time, 12:30 in the UK.
Manchester City’s situation doesn’t seem any better, as reported by Manchester Evening News.
Aside from long-term injured Rodri, Nathan Ake, Mateo Kovacic, John Stones, and Oscar Bob are also expected to miss the trip to Turin, while Phil Foden and Manuel Akanji must be assessed.
Guardiola will hold a pre-match press conference at the Allianz Stadium in Turin on Tuesday at 19:00 local time, 18:00 UK.
