Luka Doncic recorded 30 points, 13 rebounds, and 11 assists to lead the Dallas Mavericks to a 125-118 victory over the Toronto Raptors on Saturday night, securing their seventh consecutive win.
This was Doncic’s second straight triple-double and the 79th of his career, placing him seventh on the all-time list.
Kyrie Irving added 29 points for the Mavericks, who have won 11 of their last 12 games. Klay Thompson scored 20 points, P.J. Washington finished with 13, and Spencer Dinwiddie contributed 11 points.
Gradey Dick led the Raptors with 27 points, but they lost their second straight game. Scottie Barnes had 19 points and 14 assists, Jakob Poeltl scored 20 points and grabbed seven rebounds, and RJ Barrett added 18 points. Kelly Olynyk, making his season debut, scored 13 points.
Dallas led by as many as 24 points in the third quarter before the Raptors made a strong push to come back.

The score was 100-76 after Washington’s layup with 2:47 left in the third. The Raptors then went on an 11-0 run, helped by Olynyk hitting a 3-pointer and making two free throws, cutting the deficit to 100-87 as they headed into the fourth quarter.
Barnes hit a jumper to start the final period, reducing Toronto’s deficit to 11 points. The Raptors later got within five points at 120-115 after Dick made a three-pointer with 1:35 left.
However, Dallas secured the win by hitting four free throws before Toronto responded with a Barnes three, making it 124-118. The Mavericks held on to finish the game with the victory.
Doncic and Irving combined for 33 points before halftime, giving Dallas a strong 70-54 lead at the break. Barrett led the Raptors with 14 points in the first half.
Irving scored 16 points in the first quarter, helping the Mavericks to a 35-28 lead.
