AC Milan have been long-term admirers of Carney Chukwuemeka, and as the January mercato approaches, talks have been restarted regarding the talent.
It seems like the Rossoneri will be active in the January mercato, and at least one signing in midfield is a must, although two would probably be more adequate, considering the lack of a ‘proper’ No.10.
In recent weeks, Brahim Diaz, Arda Guler and Franco Mastantuono have been linked, and it seems like previous interests are a keen topic at Milan, as Chukwuemeka is back in the minds of the management, especially that of Geoffrey Moncada.
As Calciomercato.com reports, the youngster is a ‘project’ of the Technical Director, and it seems he is about to make a ‘decisive breakthrough’ according to the reports after trying to sign the player extensively last summer.
In fact, the player has ‘already said yes’ to the move and is ready to wear the Rossoneri, but a deal is not done yet. Milan’s ideal is to take Chukwuemeka on loan with the option to buy, and a deal would rely on these conditions being met, as it would provide an opportunity.
A direct buy or empty loan would not pose the same interest from the Diavolo.
