The Los Angeles Lakers could use some young players right now.
Unfortunately, they used one of their draft picks to get someone who will not be ready for a very long time, if ever.
Even so, Bronny James might be the most talked-about second-round pick in NBA history.
That’s why people are watching him closely, even in the G-League.
With that in mind, fans took to social media to react to him finally having a good game with the South Bay Lakers.
As shown by Legion Hoops on X, Bronny finished the game with 16 points, four rebounds, and two assists on 6-of-15 from the floor.

Needs to work on the 3pt shot other than that solid game…

He failed to score a triple in four attempts but did all of that in just 22 minutes.
Still, Bronny’s numbers in the G-League are far from impressive.
He’s played in just three games and was reportedly dealing with an injury.
So far, he’s averaged 8.7 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.0 blocks, and 2.0 turnovers per game.
Even with that efficient game, he’s shot 29% from the floor and has yet to knock down his first three-pointer.
Of course, he’s a work in progress, and there will be ups and downs.
But judging by what we saw from him in the Summer League, the preseason, limited NBA action, and now the G-League, he would’ve benefited from staying in college for a little longer.
On the other hand, the Lakers could’ve used that pick to get someone who could help them right now.
