Ruben Amorim’s **Manchester United**lost his first match in the Premier League against Arsenal.
What happened in the match:
The Portuguese manager have been really great for Manchester United. He has made the team a lot better since the departure of Erik Ten Hag. Amorim made a lot of tactical changes in the team as well. After the first few matches, he noticed a lot of things too. He noticed a lot of players performing well and at the same time he also noticed a lot of players who have been very bad as well. Amorim have been handling the pressure of his new team very well too. The Portuguese have been one of the best coaches in the Portuguese League as well. In the Everton Match, Manchester United scored a lot of goals. Zirkzee and Rashford scored two goals each.
This was really shocking because they were performing very bad under Erik Ten Hag. Malacia returned after his injury and he played till half time in the match against Arsenal. The Reds have been down for a while now. They have been changing coaches after coaches. However, now they probably found the one coach who will change the team. Amorim himself said that “The storm will come. We are going to have difficult moments and we will be found out in some games,”,
Manchester United fans needs to wait a bit before things get perfectly fine with the team. They lost against Arsenal in the Emirates. Arsenal scored both of the goals through set pieces in the corner. Jurrien Timber and William Saliba scored the two goals for Arsenal. It seemed like they always had an issue to defend set pieces for the opponent teams. However, this is not really the only problem Amorim is facing with Manchester United.
The Mistakes Manchester United made:
Amorim have given a specific time for certain players to play until they are substituted. This is because of the injury issues. Malacia played till half time and was substituted. Leny Yoro and Mason Mount was also the same. They did not play for too long either. Amorim made 6 changes in total to the team as well. There was really less attacking from Manchester United as well. Rasmus and Garnacho did not even shoot at the goal. Zero shots in the attacking for Manchester United.
Zirkzee even missed a chance for Manchester United when they were counter attacking as well. Rashford tried to clear the ball in the box and he tried to flick the ball. However, it ended up being a corner for Arsenal and they scored the goal. Burno Fernandez was very good for Manchester United. He have been consistent for most of the matches as well. However, even after making a lot of shots, there was no threat for Arsenal. Manchester United’s only clear attacking threat was from De Ligt header, it was still saved by David Raya. Amorim himself said that they have been working very well on the build up. However, their attacking have been very bad. In the final third, they were toothless.

Manchester United have been a great team instantly after Erik Ten Hag left. I think they finally understand it now how to play under the pressure and the tactics. I know they will lose a few more matches at the moment. This is because Amorim just joined the team. He will make a lot of tactical changes. He will also sign a lot of players and at the same time, he will also change a lot of players too. Amorim will try out various tactics as well with his new club and finally when he finds the correct tactics, he will settle with it. The fans will need a ot of patience.
