Gary Neville says you can 'write Manchester City off' in the Premier League title race as Liverpool sit eight points clear of the reigning champions. Pep Guardiola's side was forced to settle for a point away at Crystal Palace, with City twice coming from behind at Selhurst Park.
The Reds were out of action due to their encounter with Everton being postponed due to safety concerns, and City failed to make it back-to-back wins after ending their run of defeats in midweek against Nottingham Forest.
Neville has been left bemused by the lack of response from City and admitted that he has been left surprised that Guardiola has failed to find a solution following their difficult run.

Speaking to NBC, he said: "When Rodri got injured, he went for Kovacic - who is now injured - I expected him to come up with something different, with a different solution. I expected to see something innovative, we're just seeing the same things every week.
"We're seeing Gundogan and Bernardo Silva in the middle, I don't care if you're playing a top team last week like Liverpool or whether you're playing a team lower in the league like Crystal Palace.
"You're going to fancy your chances if you're Eze, Sarr, those players in midfield because they're not the best defenders in the world, they're excellent players but they haven't got that balance and to add that, the defenders are in terrible form, really bad form. Kyle Walker is giving a goal away every week, Rico Lewis and Gvardiol you can get at them all day, Dias was the only real one.
"The goalkeeper should do better for the first goal, even the goalkeepers aren't even in good form so you end up in a situation that at this moment, I think you can write them off. There is no way back with this because nothing tells you they will go on a run like they have in the past."
