Liverpool’s game against Everton was cancelled due to safety concerns during Storm Darragh, but the Reds have gained a huge title boost without even playing this weekend.
First, Man City dropped points in a 2-2 draw away to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Pep Guardiola’s side fell behind twice but came back to draw a game against a Palace side that have struggled to pick up points this season.

Pep Guardiola was again in poor form after the result, and all but conceded the title in his post-match interview, as per the BBC.
"We tried. Big compliment for the opponent,” he said. “We cannot talk about the title race when we lose four games in a row and draw. We'll try to recover players. We'll see in the last month."
Guardiola’s side did gain a point on Liverpool, but if the Reds win their game in hand against Everton later this season, it will be two points gained for Arne Slot’s side.
It was the same story on Sunday, as Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal drew at Craven Cottage in the rain against Fulham.
Arsenal, like City, went behind to a Raul Jiminez goal in the first half having dominated possession.
William Saliba pulled one back from, you guessed it, a corner, after half-time and Arsenal looked in the ascendancy.
They even thought they had won it late on with a Bukayo Saka header, which was celebrated wildly by Arsenal fans, but was ruled out for offside after VAR found Gabriel Martinelli to be offside in the build up to the goal.
It means that Arsenal are now six points behind Slot’s side, who have a game in hand.
This weekend could hardly have gone better for Liverpool - aside from if they had played and beaten Everton. The postponement has given Slot’s players a rare chance to rest their legs ahead of a gruelling few weeks in which they have 6 games in 19 days.
And Arteta will know his side have let it slip again.
