Tottenham defender Cristian Romero told supporters to stop throwing missiles onto the pitch during the early stages of their clash with Chelsea.
The 26-year-old looked visibly frustrated as Cole Palmer took an early corner for the Blues, with what appeared to be pieces of a tifo thrown towards the pitch.
Play was halted momentarily by referee Anthony Taylor as Chelsea took the resulting set-piece but Romero's anger remained.
Moments later Marc Cucurella lost his footing allowed Brennan Johnson to race through on goal, before he squared for Dominic Solanke to tap home the opener.
Soon after, Cucurella slipped again allowed Tottenham to score again with Dejan Kulusevski this time converting in a whirlwind opening period.
Spurs are bidding to bounce back following their disappointing defeat against Bournemouth in midweek, losing 1-0 at the Vitality Stadium.
