Liverpool's game against Everton was called off because of the weather conditions but both Manchester City and Arsenal dropped points and missed the chance to properly capitalize and cut into the gap at the summit of the Premier League table.
Arne Slot's side remains six points clear at the top and has a game in hand over what is likely to be its two biggest title contenders. Spurs host Chelsea later today when a win for Enzo Maresca's men would take them second and within four points of Liverpool.
But who is next up for the sides battling to win the Premier League title? Liverpool actually plays Fulham, the team that just denied Arsenal a victory, next weekend. Arsenal will host Everton and then it is the Manchester derby at the Etihad Stadium.
Who has the hardest run of games coming up over the festive period? They are all quite well spread out but Liverpool has arguably the most difficult on paper. Arsenal, now six points behind having played a game more, has the easiest. After playing Spurs, Chelsea has Brentford (H), Everton (A), Fulham (H), Ipswich (A) and begins 2025 with a trip to Crystal Palace.
Liverpool's next five in the Premier League: Fulham (H), Tottenham (A), Leicester (H), West Ham (A), Manchester United (H).
No game in the Premier League is easy but Leicester and West Ham should be winnable. Fulham can pose a problem at times while Spurs and Manchester United at their best can give anyone a game. The question with that pair is which version will turn up.

Arsenal's next five in the Premier League: Everton (H), Crystal Palace (A), Ipswich (H), Brentford (A), Brighton (A).
Mikel Arteta's men should be getting maximum points here with the trip to Brighton the hardest. Then again, it should be able to beat Fulham. The next four matches should be 12 points from 12 for Arsenal and anything less would be a big blow.
Manchester City's next five in the Premier League: Manchester United (H), Aston Villa (A), Everton (H), Leicester (A), West Ham (H).
Right now, no game is proving simple for Pep Guardiola. The Manchester derby will be interesting while an away trip to Aston Villa could easily be very difficult. Everton, Leicester and West Ham to end the year is a kind run but nothing is a given for Manchester City at the moment, even if this dire run of form won't last forever.
