Aston Villa have been touted as being one of the clubs most interested in the services of one of Europe's hottest young prospects.
Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz has been on the radar of clubs all across the continent, including some of Villa's Premier League rivals, since breaking into the first team set up at the Old Lady.
Scouts from clubs in England's top tier have recently been to watch the Turkish youngster in Juve's matches against AC Milan and Lecce, according to CaughtOffside, with Arsenal, Manchester United, and Liverpool all set to rival the Villans for any transfer.
Yildiz is said to be happy in Italy at the moment and, with his club keen to keep hold of him, the 19-year-old will drive a high price. €80 million is the amount that has been coined regarding the youngster with him being tipped to reach the very top of the game.
Despite being so fresh-faced, Yildiz has already appeared 52 times for Thiago Motta's side since joining the Juventus academy in 2022 from Bayern Munich. He made his debut in August of last year and has become a constant presence for the team that currently sit sixth in Serie A.
Liverpool are said to be the team most interested in the Turkish international. With Premier League top scorer Mohamed Salah set to leave the club at the conclusion of his contract next summer, the Reds will be swiftly on the market to find a suitable replacement.
Salah's shoes would be big ones to fill and so, although he may feel he could step into the Eyptian's soon to be vacant role, a move to a club with slightly less pressure but the same European and domestic ambition may be better suited to Yildiz.
Villa are currently experienced slight trouble in their wide positions, particularly out on the right, with Leon Bailey struggling for form and now injured and back-up wide man Jaden Philogene not quite yet ready for the consistent quality of Premier League football week-in week-out.
Yildiz has shown a glimpse of himself already at Villa Park. The winger played 82 minutes for the Old Lady when they travelled to B6 and played out a 0-0 draw with with Unai Emery's side in the Champions League group phase.
Should the Villans be able to raise the funds, Yildiz would be a tremendous statement in their pursuit of regular appearances at the elite level of the game.
