Soon to be out of contract Liverpool ace tells his wage demands to sign a new contract at L4

Liverpool has been dealt with a bit of a situation as star wide forward Mohamed Salah’s contract at Anfield Stadium is due to expire at the end of the season. The Egyptian messiah has been saving the Reds for a long time; however, it couldn’t be for long, as the former Chelsea star could be bidding adieu to L4 when the season comes to a conclusion.

Multiple reports have pointed towards a probable exit as clubs from across Europe and the Middle East look to attain his signatures.

However, per the latest by Spanish publication [Fichajes](https://www.fichajes.net/noticias/oferta-renovacion-liverpool-convencer-salah-20241207.html), the 32-year-old could still find a way to stay with the Merseysiders as he lays down €25 million per season contract demands to pen a new deal at L4.

While Salah is one of the league’s best attackers, even though he’s ageing, it will be interesting to see whether the chiefs at Kirkby would be willing to offer him that kind of money. There is no doubt over the premium output that Mo has been delivering, albeit after a point you have to ask whether it deserves such premium money.

Salah is thirty-two (32), and it is a risky new deal, as Liverpool could end up with an ageing attacker at premium wages who is mildly the player he once was.

For Liverpool, this is a complex and delicate situation, as letting him go will put a damper on their attacking options, and it will also break ample Kop hearts given when Salah has been to this club.

Do you think Liverpool should give in to the Egyptian’s wage demands, or would you rather watch him leave? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
