Enzo Maresca has a few days on the training pitches - at Cobham - before Chelsea return to action. FC Astana will host the Blues at the Almaty Ortalyk Stadion in Kazakhstan on Thursday afternoon for the penultimate clash of the Conference League 'league' phase.
Chelsea have won each of their four games in the competition and they sit at the top of the standings. In fact, the west Londoners have already booked their place in the knockout stages - after beating Heidenheim 2-0 last month.
Christopher Nkunku and Mykhailo Mudryk found the net, before Cesare Casadei was given his marching orders in the final stages. So, with that being said, football.london has looked at Chelsea's upcoming fixtures and how they compare to main Premier League title rivals Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City;
Astana (A) - Conference League - Thursday, December 12
Back on the European stage, the Blues will be eager to extend their brilliant start to the Conference League. The main problem is that the match will be played in Kazakhstan - which is VERY cold this time of the year.
Brentford (H) - Premier League - Sunday, December 15
Back on home soil, Chelsea have another London derby to get stuck into. However, Brentford continue to defy expectations under Thomas Frank, with Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo catching the eye.
Shamrock Rovers (H) - Conference League - Thursday, December 19
The fixtures are coming thick and thin but, fortunately for Maresca, he's armed with enough players to be able to make wholesale changes, should he wish.
Everton (A) - Premier League - Sunday, December 22
Goodison Park is not an easy place to go, so Chelsea will have to be at their very best. A cold, wet and windy winter's night on Merseyside that could prove to be a difficult test for Maresca's side.
Fulham (H) - Premier League - Thursday, December 26
Yet another London derby in December. Marco Silva's side have done really well this season - while creeping into the race for European qualification. As it stands, Fulham are just a handful of points off fifth - which no-one would have predicted at the start of the season.
