Arsenal green light sign£100M in January, Star sends strong transfer message, Agent tells Arsenal target open to offer

Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news, gossip and transfer latest from icfootballnews that we think you could have missed today…

Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgiy Sudakov is attracting significant interest from Premier League clubs, with ARSENAL, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool reportedly among the latest suitors, according to the Mirror.

A playmaker, Sudakov signed a new contract until 2028 which has a release clause of around £125million active from June but Shakhtar are expected to consider sensible offers for the 21-year-old.

Chelsea were understood to have held discussions with his representatives in recent transfer windows to ascertain the figures involved, but in the end, the Blues were unable to get a transfer deal done for the young man.

Now, ARSENAL are the latest club to join the chase in order to get the attacker signed up, and his agent has opened up and revealed that Sudakov is open to offers into leaving Shakhtar – His agent, Vadim Shabliy: “Shakhtar and the player are open to offers. And that means there is a high probability that we will soon be able to see Georgiy in the top leagues.”

Sudakov is close friends with Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk and has joked that his former teammate is missing him in London.

Mudryk has struggled to adjust to life in the capital since his own £62m transfer from Shakhtar last summer and remains in regular contact with Sudakov often advising him to make the switch to England.

Sudakov much have seen how Mudryk has made the move to the Premier League and been unable to make the impact that many had hoped for, he needs to be careful about what club he joins.

ARSENAL would be a great switch for the lad to make, but at the end of the day, Mikel Arteta has a number of quality players like Sudakov that are better than the Shakhtar star, he could struggle for game time at the Emirates if he made the move there.

ISAK BOOST GIVEN

Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has admitted he cannot guarantee that the club will avoid selling players during the January transfer window, as they continue to navigate Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR).

Isak, 25, has scored a goal in every other game for Newcastle, with 21 of those coming in the Premier League last season, has been heavily linked with a move to the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal in recent months as both sides are looking to add a new striker to that attack.

Mikel Arteta is a massive fan of Isak and although Kai Havertz has been decent his season, many believe that adding a player like Isak to the side will help the club regain that Premier League title for the first time in 20 years.

Now, ARSENAL have been handed a boost if they want to make a move for Isak in the January window as Howe has now come out and revealed that he cannot guarantee that the club will avoid selling players during the January transfer window, as they continue to navigate Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR)

Howe said on Sky Sports: “The days when teams don’t sell players unless your revenue streams are so big, are gone. So I think our revenue streams aren’t where we want them to be. We are trying to grow them, so I think trading in and out is going to be essential.

‘Hopefully, it’s not going to be players that we are forced to sell like we were in that situation (in the summer) with a couple of days of deadlines approaching.

‘Hopefully, it’s a more stable setting but you can’t guarantee anything. Nothing is absolutely fixed and there will be lots of twists and turns.”

Football is all about money and it seems that if ARSENAL offer the right amount, they could get the striker most fans would like to see arrive.

SALIBA WANTS TO STAY

France International stay William Saliba has opened up and revealed that he wants to be at Arsenal, amid all the transfer speculation which has suggested that Spanish giants Real Madrid are plotting a big money move in order to try and get a move done.

The Frenchman has established himself as a key player and regular under manager Mikel Arteta over the last two campaigns, playing a crucial role in their last two campaigns as they finished second behind Manchester City in the Premier League table.

He is one of the big reasons why Arsenal have been so defensively good over the past few seasons, and his partnership with Gabriel is arguably one of the very best in the Premier League and maybe even the Champions League.

There was some speculation that both Real Madrid and PSG were keen on trying to sign the Frenchman in the summer window, but Arsenal do not want him to leave, and the player himself has no desire to depart the Emirates right now – Speaking to the media recently, Saliba said: “Yeah of course, I feel at home.

“I signed for the club five years ago but it’s only my third season and I’m enjoying everything – the players, the staff and the fans.”

When asked if he could stay at Arsenal for a ‘long time, he replied: “I feel at home so of course, why not?”

Arsenal are looking to challenge for the Premier League title for the third straight year, and Sabiba added that he believes the Gunners can win the ting this time around – He said: “Everything is possible, the season is very long and we’ve experienced that in the past two years. We just have to focus on ourselves, we are still only in December so there are still a lot of things that can happen.”

We are sure that Madrid will try and tempt ARSENAL into selling Saliba one day and the defender may even be interested in making that move to La Liga – but for now – he is happy and is not leaving the club.

Nothing else needs to be said right now guys.
