Osimhen Galatasaray
Manchester United’s honeymoon period under Ruben Amorim is well and truly over with back-to-back losses against Arsenal and Nottingham Forest. It is a timely reminder of the kind of project the Portuguese tactician has undertaken.
One major concern for Amorim to address going forward is neither of his natural strikers in the squad are doing the job they are supposed to do. Scoring goals has been a huge issue for Manchester United so far this season.

United will be hoping that the likes of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee can improve their levels but they do not have the time to wait until then. What the club needs is immediate results and that might mean dipping in the market.
Now, as per Il Mattino via Napoli Magazine, Man Utd could agree £62m fee to sign Napoli star, Victor Osimhen, to solve the goalscoring conundrum. The Nigerian striker is currently on loan at Galatasaray having fallen out of favor at the Italian club.
Unlike Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee who are not clinical in front of goal, Osimhen is the opposite. He is very confident and more often that not, he knows how to find the back of the net if chances are created for him.
This term, so far, the African has made 12 appearances for the Turkish giants, and directly contributed in 14 goals (9 goals and 5 assists).
It remains to be seen what Sir Jim Ratcliffe & co. handle the situation of signing yet another new striker having spent a significant chunk of money signing two players for the very position in successive summer windows.
Let’s wait and see what the future holds for Zirkzee and Hojlund and if Victor Osimhen ends up in a Man Utd shirt.
