Ornstein revealed that Salah said last month he was “probably more out than in” and expressed disappointment over the delay in receiving a formal offer.
However, this offer suggests Liverpool want him to stay.
Ornstein also explained that Salah isn’t alone in contract talks.
Offers have been made to Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold as well. Despite this progress, there is no certainty of an agreement yet.
Ornstein stated, “A resolution is expected to take time.”
