Tottenham and other PL clubs chasing attacking midfielder

It was reported a few days ago that Shakhtar Donetsk’s Georgiy Sudakov is on the radar of several Premier League sides, including Spurs.

Spurs allegedly sent the scouts to Ukraine recently to watch the midfielder in action in the Champions League clash against PSV Eindhoven.

One can understand the growing interest in the 22-year-old, who has been tipped to be the next big-money export from Ukraine, having scored eight times and provided two assists in 15 league matches so far this season.

The Ukraine international has now opened up about his future ambitions, admitting that he dreams of playing in England or Spain.

Signing Sudakov will not be easy for Tottenham

Luring Sudakov away from Shakhtar Donetsk certainly won’t be easy for Spurs, with TBR Football previously reporting that Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester City have all made enquiries about the player.

The outlet also claimed that it would take an offer of around £50m to get the Ukrainian club to the negotiating table.

To make matters worse for Spurs, they do not have a good relationship with Shakhtar, who have complained about the fact that the North London club took advantage of the UEFA regulations to sign Manor Solomon on a free transfer.
