Enzo Maresca on Cole Palmer’s Panenka for Chelsea
Palmer has been dubbed as “Cold Palmer” by Chelsea supporters for how cool he is from the penalty spot, and Maresca wanted to join in on the fun after his side’s London derby victory.
When asked about Palmer’s second penalty, which was a Panenka, Maresca replied: “It’s cold. It’s cold.”
Palmer’s two spot-kicks against Tottenham were his 10th and 11th goals of the season, meaning that only Erling Haaland and Mohamed Salah have netted more times in the Premier League.

Jamie Redknapp was awestruck by Palmer after watching his latest performance, which helped Chelsea to move just four points behind Liverpool. The Reds, though, have a game in hand.
Cole Palmer’s numbers vs Tottenham
Palmer all-round performance against Tottenham was brilliant. He did more than tuck away a few penalties.
According to Sofascore, the attacking midfielders also registered four key passes. He also made three accurate crosses and won eight out of the 10 ground duels he competed for.
It was once again a complete display by Palmer, who has shown that last season was no fluke.
In this form, Chelsea are certainly title contenders and really should be aiming to push Liverpool all of the way. At the bare minimum, they should be finishing in the top three and winning the Conference League.
