Marc Cucurella took to social media after he was at fault for two Tottenham goals against Chelsea.
First, the Spain international slipped to let in Brennan Johnson down the right flank, before the former Nottingham Forest man squared for Dominic Solanke. Just a few minutes later, Cucurella once again lost his footing before Dejan Kulusevski stole back possession and slammed home Tottenham's second.
The ex-Brighton man then rushed across the pitch to change his boots on the sidelines with his frustrations seemingly aimed at staff member Danny Walker. Cucurella then took to Instagram after the final whistle, making fun of his selection of boots by placing them in the bin.
His Instagram story, which was then deleted, had the caption: "Sorry Blues." Manager Enzo Maresca was asked by Sky Sports reported Emma Saunders about the incident in his post-match interview and admitted responsibility has to lay with the defender.

"I don't know to be honest," responded Maresca when asked if he was frustrated by Cucurella's decision. "It is more a question for Marc.
"They are mature enough to decide the boots they need for the game. It can happen but the most important thing and the good thing about today is that even though we were 2-0 down, we give away the two goals, we still continued in the same way.
"We were in the game and we created chances. In the first half, we conceded but in the second half we created many many chances."
Cole Palmer kept his cool to score two spot-kicks late on as the Blues ran out 4-3 winners in a thoroughly entertaining contest. Next up for Chelsea is their Europa League clash with Astana before they host Brentford in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge next weekend.
