Everton sent scouts to watch Fenerbahce attacker Oguz Aydin in their recent clash against Besiktas, according to Sabah.
The Turkish outlet – who have 2.3million followers on X – reported via their website on 8 December that the winger has already rejected a move to Ajax at the start of the 2024/25 season.
However, the Toffees aren’t the only team showing interest the attacker as Lazio and Lille are both also said to be interested in making a move for the 24-year-old.
Sean Dyche’s men have already been rumoured to be interested in making a move for a defender or a winger in the January window as they look to bolster their ranks.

While the Toffees might not yet be directly involved in the relegation battle as they sit 16th in the Premier League, if they drop any more points they could find themselves in a spot of bother.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
The Toffees’ season thus far has been fairly topsy-turvy with Dyche’s men beating the likes of Wolves 4-0 but then losing to Southampton 1-0.
While a loss here and there wouldn’t effect matters all that much, it feels like a lack of consistency and sustained goal threat has been a big issue.
They had a fairly busy summer transfer window that saw the likes of Iliman Ndiaye and Jake O’Brien enter through the Goodison Park doors to try and bolster their ranks.

While Ndiaye’s arrival has started off with a bang, O’Brien has barely been afforded a chance to start.
And, after the howler that Jack Harrison had against Wolves on Wednesday, it’s clear to see why the Toffees are looking at bringing in a new winger at some point.
In other Everton news, former Blues scout Bryan King thinks a Toffees veteran will leave in January.
