Bayern Frauen coach Alexander Straus willing to fight tooth and nail to keep Klara Bühl from…

Similar to Bayern Munich’s men’s team, the Frauen are also facing a contract extension frenzy of their own. Seven players have contracts that expire next year, but coach Alexander Straus sees one player that he believes should not leave at all costs: Klara Bühl, who has attracted the attention of women’s football powerhouse FC Barcelona.

“Klara Bühl is a fantastic player who plays almost every minute for us. She is a very important player,” Straus declared (via Miasanrot). “She is a great person [off the pitch], I really enjoy working with her.”

The 49-year-old Norwegian believes that Klara can still develop further with the Frauen, and after then he would let the player transfer to another club. Some of Bayern Frauen’s players have contracts that expire in 2026, and Straus too will do anything to keep the team together. He has full faith in his board that they will ensure the continuity of his players.
