Kylian Mbappé Playfully Throws Shade at PSG’s Champions League Prospects

Kylian Mbappé’s eagerly awaited move to Real Madrid hasn’t gone as smoothly as many had anticipated following his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Despite a rocky start, the forward remains optimistic about his chances of winning the UEFA Champions League with the LaLiga club.

The 25-year-old, under contract until 2029, has faced early challenges in Madrid. These were evident during Real Madrid’s 2-0 defeat to Liverpool on Matchday 5 of the Champions League group stage.

With Vinicius out, Mbappé had the opportunity to take on his preferred role but endured a frustrating evening, atough moment for the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner.

While he scored in a league match against Getafe over the weekend, Mbappé has struggled in crucial moments. This was underscored on Wednesday when he missed a key penalty in the 68th minute, as Real Madrid lost 2-1 to Athletic Club.

Even so, he bounced back on Saturday, finding the net in a 3-0 victory over Girona, reflecting the ups and downs of his first season in Spain.

Kylian Mbappé: “My relationship with the Emir of Qatar has always been at the top. I have always had a wonderful relationship with him. It’s not Kylian vs. Qatar like people said.”
