Samsung took ages to release the first One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, but it may not make us wait too long for the second beta update. Tarun Vats on X has revealed citing sources that the second update could release this week, possibly on December 10 or December 12.
Software updates, beta or stable, always come when they're ready, and delays are quite common. But between those two dates, December 12 seems more likely. That's because December 12 is a Thursday, and Samsung launched the One UI 7.0 beta program on December 5, which was a Thursday as well.
Samsung will open One UI 7.0 beta access to more countries on the same day it releases the second update. The United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Korea, India, Poland, and China are the only countries eligible, and the beta program went live in the first four of those on day one.
Could Samsung could also open the beta program to other devices when the Galaxy S24 series gets the second beta? Well, we aren't getting our hopes up, and neither should you. It's too soon for Samsung to be doing that, and we haven't seen beta firmware for any other phone on the company's servers yet, only general test builds.
