This season has been an incredibly difficult one under Julen Lopetegui at the London Stadium.
But our struggles on the pitch paled into insignificance after the horrific Antonio news emerged on Saturday.
It was a dark day for everyone involved with the Hammers after it was confirmed the striker had been airlifted to hospital following a serious car crash.
As a West Ham co-owner led the Antonio well-wishers, fans far and wide prayed for the forward to pull through.

In fact, the entire footballing world pulled together for the Jamaica international, with the likes of Tottenham and Millwall sending their well wishes.
The 34-year-old is recovering in hospital now and is in a stable condition following the horrific accident.

That’s obviously great news for everyone involved with the club.
Hopefully we will receive even more positive updates on the Hammers star over the course of the weeks and months lying ahead.
Right now though, things aren’t looking good for him as far as playing again is concerned.

According to the Guardian’s Jacob Steinberg, Antonio is expected to be out for at least a year, following surgery on his broken leg.
At 34, that sounds like career ending to me, but I hope I’m wrong for Antonio’s sake.
After undergoing surgery on the lower limb fracture following the crash, Antonio will continue to be monitored in hospital over the coming days.
Football is secondary right now.
Antonio’s health is the be all and end all, and as he recovers in hospital, he will be grateful for the fact that he’s still here.
We should all be thanking our lucky stars that someone was looking after Michail Antonio on Saturday.
Whatever happens now, it will be crucial for West Ham to look after Michail Antonio as he navigates his way back to full health.
And I’m sure they will do exactly that.
