Nottingham Forest defeated Manchester United 3-2 at Old Trafford on Saturday to claim a first Theatre of Dreams victory in 30 years.
The Reds won courtesy of goals from Nikola Milenkovic, Morgan Gibbs-White and Chris Wood ensured that Forest went fifth in the Premier League.
Forest needed to get back to winning ways after losing 3-0 to Manchester City in midweek and it’s fair to say that the second trip to Manchester proved more fruitful.
When it came to the team selection, Neco Williams came into the team with Nuno Espirito Santo preparing for life without Alex Moreno next week against Aston Villa.
The Welsh performer has been forced into a peripheral role this season and when he plays it’s important that he grasps the opportunity with both hands.

Neco Williams aims cheeky dig at Manchester United
Having come through the academy ranks at Liverpool, Williams was given a rough reception from the home faithful on Saturday and he rammed that straight back down their throats.
Williams played well during the contest and was extremely lively up and down the left flank, with Ola Aina keeping his place as the team’s right-back option.
After the game on Saturday, Williams took to Instagram and posted: “That one felt good! Enjoy your weekend Reds.”

The subtle dig came at the end when he posted the eye emoji along with a love heart and as a former Liverpool player, he will have welcomed leaving with all three points at the weekend.
Morgan Gibbs-White reacted to the post from the defender, saying the word ‘undefeated’ in a nod towards Williams not experiencing defeat yet with Forest this season.
Elliot Anderson and Callum Hudson-Odoi also posted wordless reactions on Instagram and the performance from Williams was a positive one.
Neco Williams in numbers vs Manchester United
Williams has been a solid performer when he’s played this season and he’s clearly not sulked at the thought of not necessarily being considered the first choice in his position.
Who Scored showed that he was fantastic against United and Forest didn’t really miss the influence of Moreno from left-back.
Williams made four tackles throughout his 90 minutes on the pitch and also made four clearances – the most of any Forest player who played the full game.
He also made two successful dribbles and touched the ball 34 times.
Williams has showcased that he’s a work in progress and where his game is at right now is chalk and cheese from when he first signed for the club.
The Welsh international came up against some solid United performers on Saturday and in putting in a positive performance, he showcased that he’s a safe pair of hands when called upon in the Forest team.
