Chelsea star Jadon Sancho was always confident of a comeback during Sunday’s dramatic clash with Tottenham.
The Blues reversed a two-goal deficit to win an enthralling game 4-3 and move ahead of Arsenal into outright second in the Premier League table.
Enzo Maresca’s side are just four points off leaders Liverpool, albeit the Reds boast a game in hand after Saturday's Merseyside derby was postponed due to Storm Darragh hitting the UK.
Still, optimism is high at Chelsea despite a chaotic summer. Maresca has quickly cut out the noise and looks set to mount what would surely be considered a surprise title challenge, despite the Italian constantly playing down that prospect.
Sancho, who joined the club on loan from Manchester United this summer, helped get the Blues back into proceedings with a well-taken goal after Spurs had raced into a two-goal lead.

The England international revealed after the game that his belief in the squad of players and a half-time message from Maresca gave him the feeling Chelsea would stage a comeback.
"Going 2-0 down in the first half was not ideal but I knew we'd come back into the game when we got that first goal,” he told the BBC.
“Going in at halftime, the gaffer was telling us we were in the game. I have so much belief in the players so I knew we'd come out firing.
“They're very aggressive and we knew we'd catch them if we broke the lines and beat the press. The gaffer told us to stay wide and create the one-on-ones.”
