Everton and Wolves in picture for striker with 13 G/A – Club won’t listen to offers below €20m

Botafogo’s Igor Jesus has ended up on the radar of a few English clubs, including Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers.

That’s at least what UOL are reporting, and they cover Everton and Wolves interest in the 23-year-old.

The striker joined the Brazilian club in July, after his deal at Shabab Al Ahli expired, and he signed a contract until December 2027.

Jesus has managed eight goals and five assists for Botafogo and played a role in helping them win the Copa Libertadores for the firs time in the club’s history. He was instrumental in helping them beat Palmeiras in the last 16 and Peñarol in the semi-final of the competition.

Jesus’ performances would have seen Everton and Wolves take notice and include him in their target list.

Nottingham Forest have also shown interest and have asked the conditions needed to sign the frontman. The report says they have been told, most likely by his club, that an offer below €20m won’t be entertained.

Everton and Wolves have been told about the conditions needed to sign Jesus, and there’s no mention if one or both of them will make an offer of at least €20m for him in January.
