On November 21st, Trivela reported Nottingham Forest and Southampton are chasing Corinthians star Yuri Alberto.
UOL backs up Nottingham Forest and Southampton interest in the 23-year-old and shares more updates on this case.
The striker has starred this year, managing 31 goals and seven assists from 51 games, and that’s seen him attract interest from the Premier League.
Nottingham Forest, Southampton and West Ham United have all included the Brazilian in their target list for the winter market, with the Reds taking further steps to try and sign him.
As well as Alberto, Nuno Espírito Santo’s side are also showing interest in Botafogo’s Igor Jesus, who has a contract lasting until December 2027.
The report states Nottingham Forest have already requested information about signing Alberto and 23-year-old Jesus. The Reds have been told any offers below €20m, likely for each player, won’t be considered.
In other words, Nottingham Forest need at least €40m to secure the duo’s services, but they are unlikely to sign both in January.
Southampton made a bid for Alberto in the summer window and continue to show interest in him. They could provide competition to Nottingham Forest for the Corinthians player’s signature next month.
