Motta’s Juventus are the only unbeaten team in Serie A this season but have nine draws and just six victories.

The Bianconeri will host Manchester City in the Champions League Round 6 on Wednesday before meeting Venezia and Monza in Serie A.

Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz is expected to return to action against Manchester City after missing the previous ten games due to a muscle injury.

However, Motta is dealing with a selection crisis in defence as Andrea Cambiaso, Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal are unavailable.

Bremer and Cabal are not expected to return to action this season as they are recovering from cruciate ligament injuries.
