Air Jordan could sponsor one of Tottenham or Chelsea
Nike is the official kit manufacturer for both Spurs and Chelsea at the moment, but it recently emerged that Nike’s spin-off brand Air Jordan could sponsor one of the two London clubs next season.
This update came last week from Football Finance expert Lukasz Baczek, who took to social media to reveal that Air Jordan are ready to become the kit manufacturer of either club next season, but under one condition.
Baczek explained that they will only sign the deal with those clubs if they qualify for the Champions League, which means that the two clubs might be going head-to-head for the deal.

Keith Wyness believes that Chelsea have an advantage over Spurs
Wyness believes that with or without Champions League football, Chelsea are more likely to get the deal over Tottenham.
He suggested that the Blues’ young squad and their improved showing under Enzo Maresca give them an advantage over the Lilywhites.
MORE SPURS STORIES
When asked which of the two clubs are likely to land the Air Jordan sponsorship deal, Wyness told Football Insider: “It’s a hard one. I think, if I was the Air Jordan marketing director, I’d go for Chelsea [over Spurs] – purely because of the young age of the squad.
“That’s an edge Chelsea have, they’re a lot more relevant to Gen Z and the target market for Air Jordan. Tottenham don’t have an old squad, but Chelsea are certainly younger.
“I think Chelsea just tip it. They’ve been the most improved team this season, and you’ve got to give them credit where it’s due. Chelsea have performed very well, and they could end up being the club chasing Liverpool.
“They’re getting their act together and I don’t think they’ll be dropping prices of their sponsorships any time soon. They’ll stick out for the price and wait for the right deal.”

Champions League football key for Tottenham
The value of Champions League football for a club like Spurs cannot be overstated, with sponsorship being one of many areas where it would be beneficial.
That is why Ange Postecoglou‘s position might be under threat if Tottenham are a long way off the top four positions by the turn of the year.
