One former Premier League player turned pundit has claimed that he expects many others to now copy Chelsea owners club model.
The Blues are firing on all cylinders right now, and the owners of the club will certainly be very pleased with how things are going under the new head coach they hired at the start of this season, Enzo Maresca.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea back in for Premier League centre back that is not Marc Guehi!
They will just have watched their club beat Tottenham, a supposed ‘top six’ side, 4-3 in their own backyard last night after coming back from being two goals down early inside the first half.
The Chelsea owners will be smiling right now, but it hasn’t always been that way. Only this season things have started to go well, the few seasons before that since the new owners came in, it’s been pretty disastrous for Chelsea. But the owners always said their project would take time to see it come together, and now perhaps we are finally seeing the fruits of that.
Robbie Earle, who played well over 200 games for Wimbledon, believes others may now copy the same model as Chelsea going forward.
Visionary idea

Chelsea have signed young players and completely ripped up the squad from top to bottom. They also have a bunch of players on long contracts.
Earle on Chelsea’s project:
🗣️ “It’s almost like visionary, almost like looking at the football club in a different way than anybody’s ever done before.
“Yeah, its going to be really interesting as we know in the Premier League, when someone comes in like Pep or Sir Alex and does something well and it starts to work, other people follow.
“It’s going to be really interesting over the next couple of years whether this becomes a model.”
