Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp pulled no punches over a Manchester United star’s woeful performance against Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Ruben Amorim’s men dropped three important Premier League points on the weekend after Nottingham Forest inflicted a 3-2 defeat on the Red Devils.
Nikola Milenkovic fired a powerful header past Andre Onana from a corner to put Forest into the lead in the second minute of the Premier League contest.
Manchester United rallied back in the 18th minute through Rasmus Hojlund and Ruben Amorim’s side went into half-time with a 1-1 scoreline.
However, Forest re-established their lead only two minutes after the break after a howler moment from United No 1 Andre Onana.
Morgan Gibbs-White fired a long-range strike at Onana and the wrong-footed United shot-stopper completely misread the ball and was unable to stop the shot.
Onana’s miscommunication with Lisandro Martinez then allowed Chris Wood to land a looping header into the back of the United net in the 54th minute.
Bruno Fernandes scored seven minutes after Chris Wood’s header, but Forest held on to their lead and secured a shock 3-2 win at Old Trafford.

Redknapp on Man Utd star vs Forest
Manchester United are 13th in the Premier League table and the Red Devils are eight points adrift from the top four after 15 league matches played.
Ruben Amorim has now overseen back-to-back Premier League defeats as United manager for the first time since his arrival from Sporting CP in November.
United will now switch their focus away from the Premier League ahead of Thursday’s trip to the Doosan Arena in the Czech Republic to face Viktoria Plzen.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Jamie Redknapp insisted that Andre Onana ‘can’t be defended’ after his shocking mistake against Morgan Gibbs-White.
“You can’t defend him [Onana] there,” he said.
“He’s falling backwards, his balance is wrong, he’s got his weight on his heels…
“Sometimes it’s hard for us as players to analyse because I never played in goal, it didn’t even do it in training. I just didn’t want to do it.
“But that is fundamentally really bad goalkeeping. He knows it, he doesn’t need us to tell him on TV.”

Amorim frustrated with corners
Speaking after the Nottingham Forest defeat, Amorim admitted his disappointment at United conceding from corners in back-to-back Premier League matches.
“Of course, we are just focusing on that and we had two days where we focused a lot on that,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“But they managed to score again and it’s hard for the team. The team felt it a little bit and you can feel it. Everyone in the stadium feels that goal.
“You can put men on men with the biggest guy on the biggest guy of them and then they block your biggest guy.
“So, it doesn’t really matter if you make man-to-man or zonal marking. We need to improve in that area.”
