“I am happy” – Manchester United player says Chelsea have made him feel welcome

One Manchester United player has admitted that he is now happy at Chelsea and says the club has made him feel welcome at Stamford Bridge.

There was a lot of random last ditch moves that happened in the summer, and one of those involved Raheem Sterling moving to join Arsenal on loan.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea back in for Premier League centre back that is not Marc Guehi!

And as a result of that move, it allowed Chelsea to sign Jadon Sancho on loan from Manchester United, creating the room in the squad. None of these moves were really expected and kind of came out of nowhere in the final days of the window.

Some Chelsea fans were a bit sceptical about signing Sancho, but I always backed it, knowing what a class player he can be. And we have seen that already at Chelsea, he’s been immense.

He had a tough time at United and was treated pretty badly really. Fans started doubted him and he lost the trust of the coaches at the club.

Point to prove

Sancho much happier at Chelsea

Sancho, now at Chelsea, admits he has a point to prove in a sly little dig aimed at United.

Speaking to the Premier League media team after scoring for Chelsea to help them win 4-3 against Tottenham on Sunday, Sancho said: “From the very first day, [Chelsea] made me feel welcome. I know I have a lot of people to prove wrong, and I’m just working hard every day in training. When I get my opportunity, I try to show what I can do. Today, I am happy that I scored and helped secure three points for the team.

“Again, I’m just taking it game by game, and hopefully, I can continue this form. I have to say thank you to the whole Chelsea team and the staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to play.”
