West Ham managerial candidate Graham Potter is in the “frame” to replace Marco Rose at RB Leipzig, according to The Sun journalist Alan Nixon.
Writing on his Patreon, Nixon said that the Bundesliga side are weighing up a change in the dugout following a run of poor results.
Leipzig find themselves fourth in their domestic league but they are 34th in the Champions League table, having lost all 5 of their matches so far.

Reports in the German media have suggested that they may consider Rose’s position during Germany’s upcoming winter break.
West Ham could beat Leipzig to the punch
With Rose likely to remain in his role until after the game against Bayern Munich on December 20th, the Hammers should have a good headstart in terms of negotiations if they want to appoint Potter.
While Julen Lopetegui ostensibly remains in charge of West Ham, there is a very strong chance that he will be sacked if he fails to beat relegation-threatened Wolves on Monday evening.
The Spaniard is believed to have already lost the dressing room and fans have questioned why the club’s board have not wielded the axe yet.
Potter is not the only manager under consideration
In addition to the former Brighton and Chelsea boss, it has been reported that Middlesbrough head coach Michael Carrick, Brentford’s Thomas Frank, Roger Schmidt, Sergio Conceicao and Max Allegri are also regarded as potential candidates.
However, there is a feeling that chairman David Sullivan only wants to hand Lopetegui’s replacement a contract until the end of the season, and that may limit interest in the position.
If Leipzig do sack their manager and choose to pursue Potter, though, West Ham may regret the delay in appointing a new head coach.
