Enzo Maresca is only in his first campaign as a top-flight manager, however is proving to be getting his message across to his players very successfully both domestically and in Europe.
Chelsea fans have been notably big fans of the Italian since he took over. They were loudly chanting Maresca’s name during the dominant win over Southampton.

The latest example of admiration towards the boss came yesterday in the London derby against Tottenham, where the Blues won 4-3 after being 2-0 down.
Plenty of Chelsea icons were also thrilled with the victory. John Terry’s aimed a dig at their rivals by insinuating they always get the better of Spurs.

Yesterday’s game certainly didn’t get off to the best start. Until Marc Cucurella changed his boots, Chelsea were 2-0 down and up against it.
Despite many actually having faith they would turn it around, big comeback wins have not been the norm for them in recent years.
In fact, Chelsea have not come from 2-0 down to win a game since 2018, when they beat Southampton thanks to goals from Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard.
