Marco Silva has expressed his pride at Fulham’s start to the Premier League campaign after they drew 1-1 with Arsenal on Sunday.
The Whites are 10th in the table and extended their unbeaten run to three matches.
Fulham have banked 11 points from a possible 18 with three wins over that period.
Raul Jimenez swept the ball past Gunners keeper David Raya from Kenny Tete’s pass in the 11th minute.
But Arsenal continued their potency from corner kicks with William Saliba equalised early in the second half. A late goal by
Bukayo Saka was ruled offside after a VAR review.
“We have to be honest and fair – on the ball it was one of the games we had less time on the ball,” said Fulham boss Silva. “We scored a very good goal. Second half was more difficult. The team had less energy.
“I’m more pleased with the way our players fought – the commitment and the organisation. It’s always tough when we play against them, but they know it will be tough too. We create a difficult scenario for them.
“It’s been a tough week. In eight days we played Tottenham, Brighton and Arsenal. The momentum is here for us. We have to be proud of the season so far.”
Fulham are facing a centre-back selection headache for Saturday’s trip to Liverpool. Calvin Bassey is suspended after receiving five bookings and Joachim Andersen (calf) is out.
Club captain Tom Cairney is also banned for his red card at Tottenham.
