Former Arsenal star Martin Keown believes Enzo Fernandez looks unrecognisable following his recent run of good form for Chelsea.
The Blues made it four Premier League wins in row as they came from 2-0 down to beat Tottenham 4-3 on Sunday afternoon and move four points behind leaders Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
Jadon Sancho scored for the second game running, with Cole Palmer scoring twice from the penalty spot and Fernandez getting the all important third goal to put the Blues 3-2 up.
Keown praises Fernandez
Fernandez has had a difficult start to the season and lost his place to Romeo Lavia for the trip to Anfield at the end of October and subsequently started the next three games against Newcastle, Manchester United and Arsenal on the bench.
However, since returning from the November international break Fernandez looks like a different player and has scored three goals in the last four Premier League games, with Maresca highlighting earlier this month where he’s really improved.
The 23-year-old took his goal brilliantly as the ball fell to him in the box after great work by Palmer and he unleashed a fierce drive past Fraser Forster in the Tottenham goal.

Fernandez has had difficulties off the pitch, whilst he was playing a through a hernia issue last season which was clearly holding him back.
The World Cup winner finally looks fully fit for the first time in a while and Chelsea are reaping the benefits with his brilliant performances.
Former Arsenal star Keown believes Fernandez looks unrecognisable following his recent good form for the Blues.
“[Enzo] Fernandez looks unrecognisable,” he told talkSPORT as cited on X.com.
“Everyone was saying he’s a World Cup winner, now he’s looking like one, scoring goals from midfield and joining in the attack.”

Fernandez is arguably playing the best football of his Chelsea career and is now arriving in the box and contributing in the attacking phase of the game which is really benefitting the Blues.
The Argentina international will almost certainly be given the night off against Astana in the Conference league on Thursday, so he will be fresh for the visit of Brentford on Sunday.
