All the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.
We do still have a game remaining in the form of West Ham’s clash with Wolves in what could be crucial game for both managers. In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest news and transfer rumours surrounding the Premier League.
Cunha battle
Tottenham are said to be keen on a move for Wolves striker Matheus Cunha. Cunha, who has also been linked with Arsenal, could be prized away from Wolves given their poor start to the season, but the summer looks a more realistic window to pull off a deal.
FootballTransfers say Spurs have showed a willingness to speak to Cunha’s representatives as they look to pull off a deal. Wolves reportedly want £60million having spent £40million to land the striker initially.
Munoz living the dream
Palace star Daniel Munoz is on cloud nine after scoring again at Selhurst Park, helping to pick up a point against City. “When I arrived here, I knew that I had always dreamed of playing for this opportunity,” he told the club website. “I am living a dream, I am living this process day by day with the best of will, with the greatest attitude, with the greatest intensity. I always prepare to face the best.
“I think that work has paid off. I work honestly, I work to give the best to my club and my teammates. I hope that in football that good work has always been reflected. It’s why we are preparing day by day. Some days we get results, some days we don't. But we always push to give our best to Crystal Palace and not to be in those difficult positions – we always want to move forward and we are going to work hard.”
Salah claim
Alan Shearer has told Mo Salah he may be putting Liverpool in an ‘impossible’ situation amid ongoing contract talks. "When I hear people say just give him what he wants, in terms of the Salah situation, you can't just give a player what he wants," Shearer told BBC Radio 5Live. "One, you don't know what he's asking for, because he might put the club in an impossible situation if you give him what he wants, then someone else wants to know what he's being paid.
"Then the next big hitter that comes in will want and demand what he's being paid. There has to be a balance to something. We don't know what goal bonus Salah is on, so it's a very complicated situation when you're talking about contracts for players who are in their 30s, but have been a huge part of the football club.”
