For reasons unknown to those outside their circles, NBA players don’t seem to like Rudy Gobert.
They constantly criticize him on and off the court, and they don’t seem to respect him.
That’s particularly true with Draymond Green.
Green has openly called him soft and he’s snubbed some of his Defensive Player of the Year awards.
That’s why it wasn’t a surprise to see Green making the most of a chance to stick it to the Minnesota Timberwolves big man again.
Following a clutch dunk on him in the Warriors’ win over Minnesota, Green ensured that Gobert saw him doing Stephen Curry’s signature “night night” celebration (via NBC Sports Authentic).

Things are personal when these two come across one another.
Green returned to the starting lineup for this game, with Andrew Wiggins missing the game with an injury.
He finished the game with a classic Draymond Green stat line: six points, six rebounds, and seven assists.
Two of those points, however, came when it mattered the most, right in front of the reigning Defensive Player of the Year.
The Warriors needed some momentum after going through a bit of a slump.
They’ve now won two of their last three games.
Their record is 14-9, and they’re in fifth place in the Western Conference.
While they haven’t been as dominant as they were earlier in the season, one should know better than to count this team out.
