David Coote has now been SACKED with immediate effect after incriminating videos emerged online - including one appearing to show him snort cocaine and another in which he called former Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp surfaced online a 'German c***'.

The English official was suspended by the organisation on November 11 pending a full investigation after a clip of him using derogatory words about Klopp circulated on social media. Two days later, Coote came under further pressure to keep his job when the Sun obtained images that appeared to show Coote snorting cocaine with a rolled up US bank note during last summer's European Championships.

And following a thorough investigation, the PGMOL have confirmed that Coote has been relieved of his duties. Their statement read: "Following the conclusion of a thorough investigation into David Coote’s conduct, his employment with PGMOL has been terminated today with immediate effect.

"David Coote’s actions were found to be in serious breach of the provisions of his employment contract, with his position deemed untenable. Supporting David Coote continues to be important to us and we remain committed to his welfare. David Coote has a right to appeal the decision to terminate his employment."
