**The hearing into Manchester City’s 115 charges issued by the Premier League in February 2023 has now concluded, it has been confirmed.**
The latest development comes after it was confirmed in mid-September that the hearing into charges relating to alleged breaches of the Premier League’s financial rules from Manchester City had finally began.
That development came after it was published and revealed in February 2023 that City had been charged and referred to an independent commission following a four-year investigation, with the top-flight claiming the club had breached its financial rules between 2009 and 2018.
In a stance maintained by Manchester City at the time of the charges being released and throughout the process, Etihad Stadium officials strongly deny all charges and have said that their case is supported by a “comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence”.
From the side of the Premier League, the English top-flight claim that City had breached rules requiring the club to provide “accurate financial information that gives a true and fair view of the club’s financial position”, whilst also accusing them of not co-operating.
Now, in the clearest indication yet that a verdict into the matter is now only a matter of time away, it has been confirmed that the hearing into the matter has now concluded at the International Dispute Resolution Centre in the city of London.
That is according to the [information of MailSport’s Mike Keegan](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14174019/Man-Citys-hearing-115-breaches-Premier-League-concluded-hearing.html), who reports that the hearing into the Premier League’s 115 charges of alleged breaches of financial rules against Manchester City has now concluded.
It is [detailed](https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-14174019/Man-Citys-hearing-115-breaches-Premier-League-concluded-hearing.html) that closing arguments in the widely-publicised case were completed on Friday 6 December, with a three-man panel now considering evidence before delivering a verdict in the coming months.
Speaking during a press conference around the time of the hearing having first started, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola sided with La Liga boss, Javier Tebas “for the first time” over the suggestion that all Premier League teams want the club to be sanctioned.
“That is for sure,” Guardiola responded to the suggestion. “But that’s why I say to Mr (Javier) Tebas and the Premier League teams, wait for the independent panel. Justice is there in a modern democracy. It’s not more complicated than that.”
Guardiola continued at the time, “I don’t know if he is a lawyer or the rest of the Premier League teams are lawyers, so I ask for that. It happened with Uefa. We believe we have not done anything wrong.”
On the subject of the hearing itself, the Manchester City coach said, “It starts soon and hopefully finishes soon. An independent panel will decide and I am looking forward to the decision.
“I’m happy it’s starting. I know there will be more rumours, new specialists about the sentences. We’re going to see. I know what people are looking forward to, what they expect, I know, I read for many, many years. Everybody is innocent until guilt is proven. So we’ll see.”
