Julen Lopetegui has been left in absolutely no doubt about the importance of West Ham’s clash with Wolves according to a Sky Sports reporter.
West Ham fans have been calling for Julen Lopetegui to be sacked since defeat at Leicester.
The drubbing at home to Arsenal pushed Hammers supporters to the edge.
A 3-1 defeat at Leicester pushed them over it as supporters chanted ‘you’re getting sacked in the morning’ to the Spaniard.
West Ham’s owners held an emergency meeting on Thursday to decide Lopetegui’s fate.
The outcome, much to the anger of fans, was that the 58-year-old was given one final chance.
That comes in the shape of another must-win game against his old club Wolves at the London Stadium on Monday night.
A top Hammers source close to majority owner David Sullivan revealed Lopetegui has been told he must win each of the next four games to keep his job.

That means beating Wolves, then Bournemouth, then Brighton and then Southampton.
Failure to do so will, it has been claimed by the source, see Lopetegui relieved of his duties.
Pressure is building ahead of kick-off in the Premier League six-pointer.

Reporter’s major West Ham update live from London Stadium
It comes against the backdrop of claims of major unrest in the dressing room and bust-ups between the manager and several players.
Five big players have reportedly told the owners they will demand to leave if Lopetegui stays.
West Ham fans have been here before, though.
Lopetegui has already had several public votes of confidence in his time in east London.
So much so they’re no longer the “dreaded” vote of confidence they once were.
Supporters have also been told on more than one occasion that a game was “must win” for the manager’s future.
Now a reporter has shared live from London Stadium what he’s been told about West Ham sacking Lopetegui.
And this time it seems the owners have genuinely put the head coach on his very last warning.
James Savundra has been speaking live on Sky Sports News inside the ground just hours from kick-off.
He was asked by the presenter whether this really is a “must win” for Lopetegui.

Sky Sports man shares what he’s been told about West Ham sacking Lopetegui
Savundra revealed he has been told that it most definitely is this time.
“Yes, it is effectively being seen as a cup final when it comes to Julen Lopetegui’s future at the football club,” Savundra said on SSN at 4pm.
“The club’s board met on Thursday last week to decide upon Lopetegui’s future after back-to-back defeats… conceded eight goals in the process.
“It’s been a really disappointing start to life at the London Stadium for Lopetegui, they’ve only won four matches in the top flight this season. They’ve lost half of his matches in charge.
“And that is why there is so much pressure on Lopetegui right now…
“Lopetegui says he’s simply focusing on the game knowing how pivotal it is for West Ham. As far as he’s concerned he’s been asked to integrate nine new signings over these past few months and implement a new playing style.
‘Hard to see Lopetegui remaining’
“That’s what West Ham fans wanted, a new playing style. But so far we’ve yet to see any proof of that whatsoever…
“He knows results need to improve. And it’s hard to see Lopetegui remaining as West Ham boss if they are to lose at home this evening…
“In fact it’s a game you feel is must win for both managers.”
So there you have it West Ham fans, Savundra claims this time Lopetegui’s job really is on the line.
West Ham’s owners have been more than fair with the former Spain boss.
He has been given six months to show some semblance of an identity, style or an idea he is working towards.
But as the Sky Sports reporter says himself, there has been ‘no sign of that whatsoever’.
Therefore this could be the last team selection the manager makes at West Ham.
And we believe Lopetegui will make two Hammers changes and a late call on a third.
